Someone in the comments said to set fboEnabled to true in my options.txt file and it worked. I ended up searching "Minecraft Shaders black screen" and found this video. I've tried everything I can think of.Įdit #2: For anyone that might be reading this, I fixed it. I don't even have to select a shader pack, it still flashes without one selected. All the buttons on the main menu are white and text in the options menu or world menu are all blocks. I just tried the method of installing without Forge (by installing ASM) without Optifine, and it didn't work either. I can access the main menu fine (and yes, the "shaders" button is there and usable.) But when I pick my shader pack (SEUS) and try to load into a world or server, the flickering/flashing begins.

I should also let you know that the Shaders Mod installs successfully. Something that might be worth nothing is that I have 4GB of RAM allocated. I have an Nvidia GPU, and yes the latest drivers are installed. I am using Optifine version D1 with the latest Forge version (11.) I've even tried it without Forge and it does the same thing.
